High-Temperature High-Pressure Quick-Closing Isolation Valve
On July 9, 2021, it passed the prototype appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation. The appraisal conclusion was that the developed high-temperature high-pressure quick-closing isolation valve prototype was successful, possessed independent intellectual property rights, filled a gap both domestically and internationally, achieved overall performance at the advanced level of similar international products, and was deemed suitable for application in nuclear power plants.

(2) Scope of Application
The High-Temperature High-Pressure Quick-Closing Isolation Valve is one of the key equipment in the main pipeline of high-temperature and high-pressure systems. It is used in petrochemical, nuclear power, military industry and other fields. When abnormal or specific accident conditions occur in the main pipeline system and isolation of the pipeline system is required, it serves the function of rapid isolation of the main pipeline system.
(3) Application Status of the Achievement
The High-Temperature High-Pressure Quick-Closing Isolation Valve is one of the key equipment for large advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power units. Mastering the design and manufacturing technology of this type of valve and achieving localization are of great significance for breaking the monopoly supply of foreign enterprises and reducing the impact of the international political and economic environment on the development of China's nuclear power industry. Dalian Dago has supplied quick-closing isolation valves for the main feedwater and start-stop system (2LOT255B) of the Demonstration Fast Reactor Unit 2 and for the Xiapu Fast Reactor Demonstration Project Unit 1. Follow-up promotion to other nuclear power units and restricted industries (e.g., those subject to export controls) is planned.
(4) Intellectual Property Status
The intellectual property achievements were independently developed for the High-Temperature High-Pressure Quick-Closing Isolation Valve project. After patent search and analysis domestically and internationally, no patents that would pose a freedom-to-operate (FTO) risk were identified. The intellectual property achievements of the project are independent and controllable. One utility model patent (A Quick-Closing Isolation Valve Meeting the Functional Requirements for High-Temperature High-Pressure Rapid Closing) has been granted.
