The prototype of the major special project "large-diameter electric gate valve, ADS automatic pressure reducing valve, and main feedwater check valve" has passed the appraisal
On February 3, 2018, the prototype of the large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor major project "Large Diameter Electric Gate Valve, ADS Automatic Pressure Reducing Valve, Main Feedwater Check Valve" jointly developed by Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. passed the appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation (CAMC) and the China General Machinery Industry Association (CGMA) in Dalian.
The Major Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Nuclear Power Department of the National Energy Administration, the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China General Machinery Industry Association, the China Nuclear Power Development Center, China Nuclear Industry Corporation, China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the State Power Investment Science and Technology Research Institute, China National Nuclear Corporation Xiapu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., the State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation, the State Nuclear Demonstration Power Plant Co., Ltd., Shandong Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., China Zhongyuan Foreign Engineering Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute, China General Nuclear Power Research Institute Co., Ltd., Dalian University of Technology, Nanjing University of Science and Technology and other units attended the meeting.
The conference review expert group consists of 13 members, with Academician Ye Qizhen from China National Nuclear Corporation serving as the group leader, and Academician Cheng Gengdong from Dalian University of Technology and Chief Engineer Zhao Hua from China General Nuclear Corporation serving as deputy group leaders.
The review team and attendees first inspected the production and testing site, examined the product prototype, and witnessed some performance tests; And during the meeting, I listened to the research and development summary report made by Dalian Dagao, and reviewed relevant documents and materials on design, manufacturing, testing, inspection, and quality assurance.
The appraisal committee unanimously believes that the prototypes of the large-diameter electric gate valve, ADS automatic pressure reducing valve, and main feedwater check valve developed by Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd. are successful and have completely independent intellectual property rights. The main technical parameters and performance indicators have reached the advanced level of similar international products, and can be promoted and applied in nuclear power plants.
The successful development of three product prototypes, namely large-diameter electric gate valves, ADS automatic pressure reducing valves, and main feedwater check valves, marks that Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd. has mastered the design concepts, standard requirements, design, manufacturing, and calibration testing technologies of high-end valves for third-generation nuclear power units. It can achieve the goal of advancing with the country and make positive contributions to the localization of high-end valves.
