The appraisal opinion was that the developed nuclear grade pneumatic globe check valve was successful, had independent intellectual property rights, and the main technical indicators reached the advanced level of international similar products. It can be promoted and applied in nuclear power units.

Scope of application: Nuclear grade pneumatic globe check valves are mainly used in the process systems of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. When the valve is closed by the driving mechanism, ensure that the flow is cut off. When the valve stem retracts, it allows single flow of the medium and prevents reverse flow of the medium to cut off the medium flow rate.
Application of achievements: Dalian Dagao signed procurement contracts with Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. in 2024 for PV14B nuclear grade pneumatic globe check valves for units 1 and 2 of Guangdong Lianjiang Nuclear Power Project, PV14B nuclear grade pneumatic globe check valves for units 1 and 2 of Guangxi Bailong Nuclear Power Project, and PV14B nuclear grade pneumatic globe check valves for units 5 and 6 of Shandong Haiyang Nuclear Power Project. It is expected to complete the supply this year.
The successful research and development of nuclear grade pneumatic globe check valves has broken through the technical bottleneck of domestic nuclear grade pneumatic globe check valves. It is not only of great significance for achieving 100% localization of third-generation nuclear power plant equipment, but also can promote the development of independent nuclear power brands and gradually enter the international market.
Intellectual property situation: The intellectual property achievements independently developed by the nuclear grade pneumatic stop check valve project have been searched and analyzed for patents at home and abroad, and no obstacle patents have been found. The intellectual property achievements of the project are independent and controllable, and one utility model patent application (a nuclear grade pneumatic stop check valve) has been authorized.
