The first independently developed main steam isolation valve pneumatic hydraulic actuator has been successfully shipped

On January 15, 2026, the first main steam isolation valve pneumatic hydraulic actuator, led by China General Nuclear Power Engineering and jointly developed by Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dalian Dagao"), was successfully put into use and shipped to the Lufeng Nuclear Power Project site after passing the factory joint acceptance.

The pneumatic hydraulic actuator of the main steam isolation valve is a key component of the core equipment of the main steam system (VVP) in nuclear power plants. In order to further improve the level of nuclear power equipment self-reliance and master the key core technology in our own hands, since 2019, CGN Engineering and Dalian Dagao Group have jointly launched a special research and development team. After years of technical research and development, the R&D team has completed the entire process of product design, process manufacturing, and identification testing. The final appraisal results indicate that all indicators of the independently developed actuator meet the technical requirements for development and appraisal. This breakthrough not only fills the domestic technological gap and achieves independent and controllable technology, but also marks an important improvement in the integrity of China's nuclear power equipment industry chain.
